By accessing or using Linkyoo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
- When we say “Linkyoo,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean Linkyoo and its affiliates.
- When we say “platform” or “services,” we mean the Linkyoo web platform, including the business page editor, public-facing storefront pages, QR code system, order management tools, push notifications, invoicing features, analytics dashboard, and any associated APIs or tools.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Linkyoo platform, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Linkyoo.
2. Description of Service
Linkyoo is a web-based platform that helps businesses create a public storefront
page at a unique URL (linkyoo.me/[your-linkname]) and share it with customers
via a single link or QR code. It is designed for small businesses, food vendors,
restaurants, creators, and online sellers who want to showcase what they sell,
receive orders, and manage their business from their phone.
Our services include:
- A web-based business page editor for adding products, categories, pricing, photos, and business information.
- A public-facing storefront page accessible to customers via QR code or direct link, shareable across WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- A cart and order flow that lets customers browse, add items, and submit orders directly to the business.
- Instant push notifications to the business owner when a new order is placed.
- Automatic order confirmation emails and invoices sent to customers.
- A QR code generator tied to your unique linkname.
- An analytics dashboard with visitor counts and page performance data.
- Premium subscription plans with higher usage limits and additional features.
3. Account Registration
To use Linkyoo as a business owner, you must:
- Create an account with a valid email address.
- Provide accurate and complete information about your business.
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Linkyoo platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent business information, pricing, or product listings.
- List products or services you do not intend to fulfill, or accept orders you have no intention of completing.
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or invasive of another’s privacy.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or access any part of the platform in an unauthorized manner.
- Use automated tools to access the platform in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and materials on Linkyoo, including logos, trademarks, and platform features, are owned by or licensed to Linkyoo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Content you upload (such as product photos, descriptions, pricing, and business details) remains your property. By uploading content to Linkyoo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and serve that content as part of your public storefront page and any associated order or invoicing features.
6. Subscriptions & Billing
Linkyoo offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans.
- The free tier includes a monthly visitor limit. Once that limit is reached, your public storefront page becomes temporarily unavailable to new visitors until the limit resets at the start of the following month.
- Paid plans remove the monthly visitor limit and unlock additional features, and are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on your selection).
- You authorize us to charge your payment method at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- All pricing is displayed in your local currency where applicable.
- For refund terms, see our Refund Policy.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any pricing change affects their plan.
Custom & Enterprise Plans
Some businesses are offered custom (enterprise) plans with pricing negotiated directly with Linkyoo. These plans differ from standard subscriptions in the following ways:
- Pricing, billing cycle, and terms are agreed on a contract basis between the business and Linkyoo, rather than selected from our standard published plans.
- Custom plans are billed directly through Linkyoo using the payment method arranged under your agreement. They are not sold as in-app purchases and are not processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems.
- Because a custom plan is a negotiated business agreement rather than a consumer in-app subscription, App Store and Google Play subscription rules (such as platform-managed renewals or cancellations) do not apply to it. Renewals, changes, and cancellations are handled directly between the business and Linkyoo under the agreed contract terms.
7. Orders & Fulfillment
Linkyoo provides tools that allow customers to browse products and submit orders to businesses through the platform. The following applies to all orders placed through a Linkyoo storefront:
- Linkyoo is not a party to any transaction between a business and its customers. We provide the technology that connects them; we do not sell, ship, or fulfill any goods or services.
- Businesses are solely responsible for fulfilling orders, communicating with customers, and resolving any disputes about products, delivery, or refunds.
- Payment processing is optional. Where a business has enabled Linkyoo’s payment features, customers may pay directly through the platform via Flutterwave (see Section 8). Where payment features are not enabled, orders are confirmed through the platform and fulfilled directly between the business and the customer using their own payment arrangement.
- We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from orders placed on a business’s Linkyoo page.
8. Payment Terms (Merchant Payments)
Linkyoo offers optional payment features that allow customers to pay for orders directly through the platform. The following terms apply to merchants who enable and use these payment features.
-
Payment Processing Partner. Linkyoo’s merchant payment features are powered by Flutterwave. By enabling or using payment features on Linkyoo, you also agree to Flutterwave’s Terms of Service.
-
Platform Processing Fee. Customers who make payments through Linkyoo’s payment flow will be charged an additional 4% processing fee on top of the order total. This fee is collected by Linkyoo to cover payment processing costs and is disclosed to customers at checkout.
-
Settlement and Reconciliation. Payments collected through the platform are reconciled and settled to the merchant’s registered mobile money or bank account on the next business day after the transaction is confirmed.
-
Access to Payment Features. Payment features are not enabled by default. Merchants must request access and agree to these payment terms before accepting payments through Linkyoo. Linkyoo reserves the right to approve or deny access to payment features at its discretion.
-
Merchant Responsibility. Merchants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their payout account details. Linkyoo is not liable for failed settlements due to incorrect account information provided by the merchant.
-
Suspension of Payment Features. Linkyoo reserves the right to suspend or revoke a merchant’s access to payment features in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, or at Linkyoo’s discretion with reasonable notice.
9. Third-Party Services
Linkyoo uses trusted third-party services to power the platform. These services may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their own privacy policies. By using Linkyoo, you acknowledge that data may be processed by these third parties.
