Terms of Service

By accessing or using Linkyoo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

  • When we say “Linkyoo,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean Linkyoo and its affiliates.
  • When we say “platform” or “services,” we mean the Linkyoo web platform, including the business page editor, public-facing storefront pages, QR code system, order management tools, push notifications, invoicing features, analytics dashboard, and any associated APIs or tools.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Linkyoo platform, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Linkyoo.

2. Description of Service

Linkyoo is a web-based platform that helps businesses create a public storefront page at a unique URL (linkyoo.me/[your-linkname]) and share it with customers via a single link or QR code. It is designed for small businesses, food vendors, restaurants, creators, and online sellers who want to showcase what they sell, receive orders, and manage their business from their phone.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials on Linkyoo, including logos, trademarks, and platform features, are owned by or licensed to Linkyoo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Content you upload (such as product photos, descriptions, pricing, and business details) remains your property. By uploading content to Linkyoo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and serve that content as part of your public storefront page and any associated order or invoicing features.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Linkyoo offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any pricing change affects their plan.

Custom & Enterprise Plans

Some businesses are offered custom (enterprise) plans with pricing negotiated directly with Linkyoo. These plans differ from standard subscriptions in the following ways:

Linkyoo provides tools that allow customers to browse products and submit orders to businesses through the platform. The following applies to all orders placed through a Linkyoo storefront:

8. Payment Terms (Merchant Payments)

Linkyoo offers optional payment features that allow customers to pay for orders directly through the platform. The following terms apply to merchants who enable and use these payment features.

  1. Payment Processing Partner. Linkyoo’s merchant payment features are powered by Flutterwave. By enabling or using payment features on Linkyoo, you also agree to Flutterwave’s Terms of Service.

  2. Platform Processing Fee. Customers who make payments through Linkyoo’s payment flow will be charged an additional 4% processing fee on top of the order total. This fee is collected by Linkyoo to cover payment processing costs and is disclosed to customers at checkout.

  3. Settlement and Reconciliation. Payments collected through the platform are reconciled and settled to the merchant’s registered mobile money or bank account on the next business day after the transaction is confirmed.

  4. Access to Payment Features. Payment features are not enabled by default. Merchants must request access and agree to these payment terms before accepting payments through Linkyoo. Linkyoo reserves the right to approve or deny access to payment features at its discretion.

  5. Merchant Responsibility. Merchants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their payout account details. Linkyoo is not liable for failed settlements due to incorrect account information provided by the merchant.

  6. Suspension of Payment Features. Linkyoo reserves the right to suspend or revoke a merchant’s access to payment features in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, or at Linkyoo’s discretion with reasonable notice.

9. Third-Party Services

Linkyoo uses trusted third-party services to power the platform. These services may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their own privacy policies. By using Linkyoo, you acknowledge that data may be processed by these third parties.

10. Availability & Uptime

We aim to keep Linkyoo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination:

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linkyoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, or your inability to use it.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Linkyoo platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the date below. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws where Linkyoo operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.
