Every Linkyoo business page is a Progressive Web App (PWA). That means you can save it to your home screen or desktop and open it like a native app — no installation from an app store needed.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
Safari on iOS and iPadOS is the only browser on Apple devices that supports Add to Home Screen.
- Open the business page in Safari (not Chrome or Firefox).
- Tap the Share button — the box with an arrow pointing up at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the name if you like, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
The page now appears on your home screen with its own icon. Tap it to open straight into the menu — no browser address bar, no tabs.
Note for Chrome/Firefox users on iPhone: Apple restricts the Add to Home Screen feature to Safari only. Switch to Safari, open the same link, and follow the steps above.
Android (Chrome)
Chrome on Android shows an automatic install banner when a site qualifies as a PWA. You may also install it manually at any time.
From the install banner
- When the “Install App” card appears on the page, tap Install App.
- Chrome shows a confirmation prompt — tap Install.
- The app is added to your home screen and app drawer immediately.
Manually from the menu
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app on newer Chrome versions).
- Confirm by tapping Install.
Desktop — Chrome, Edge, and Brave
These browsers support one-click PWA installation directly from the address bar.
- Visit the business page.
- Look for the install icon (a monitor with a download arrow) in the address bar on the right side.
- Click it and then click Install in the confirmation popup.
The page opens in its own window without browser chrome, just like a native desktop app. You will also find it in your Applications folder (macOS) or Start menu (Windows).
Desktop — Firefox and Safari (macOS)
Firefox does not support PWA installation. Safari on macOS added basic PWA support in Safari 17 (macOS Sonoma).
Safari on macOS (Sonoma or later):
- Visit the business page in Safari.
- From the menu bar, go to File → Add to Dock.
- Confirm the name and click Add.
Already installed?
The install prompt will not appear if the app is already on your device. To check, look for the business icon on your home screen or in your app drawer.
If you previously dismissed the prompt and want to install it now, use the manual browser menu method described above for your browser.
