It looks and behaves like any real business page — it has products, a cart, a checkout flow, and an order confirmation screen — but it exists purely for demonstration purposes. No real products will be delivered, and no payment is collected.
Demo businesses let prospective business owners and curious visitors see exactly how Linkyoo works before they sign up or make any commitment.
Why does Linkyoo use demo businesses?
Explaining a product is hard. Showing it is easy. Demo businesses let anyone walk through the full customer journey in a matter of minutes:
- Browse a real-looking catalogue of products or a restaurant menu.
- Add items to a cart and see totals update in real time.
- Check out by filling in delivery details, choosing fulfilment options, and placing an order.
- Receive a confirmation with an order number and a shareable receipt link.
This gives business owners a concrete picture of what their customers will see once their own page is live.
What happens if I place an order on a demo business?
Your order goes through the full technical flow — it is recorded in our system and you will receive an order confirmation screen with an order number. However:
- Nothing will be delivered. The store is not real, so no goods or services will be dispatched.
- No payment is taken. Linkyoo does not currently process payments at checkout; orders are confirmed and then fulfilled directly between the business and the customer.
- The business owner will not follow up. Demo stores are not monitored by a real seller.
